Budgeting Art Services And Website Design
Pricing Reflects Art Services And Website Design
Our pricing reflects art website consultation, art services, and website design, backed by over 20 years of experience in the online art business.
Most website designers don't specialize in, or have much experience with art businesses. Art websites require more than just uploading the content you provide into website frames or boxes. The two most important art services most website designers are unfamiliar with or don't provide are written art copy and proofing, and art image editing. The most important website design service many website designers will either skip or rely on you for is search engine optimization (SEO) keywords and keyphrase art vocabulary. We already know most of your keywords, so you won't have to spend your time and money explaining your art business to the designer.
Whether you're building your first art website or upgrading to a new art website, our combined experience in the art business, art services, and web design will be offered to you as a total package for our art website design collaboration.

Website Budget And SEO Pricing
The Hidden Cost Of SEO Best Practices
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is often listed on websites by designers but often neglected during website builds. How do we know this? Because we can test for it, and most of the time, we see low scores. Many web designers overlook SEO because clients can't see the behind-the-scenes backend work, and some clients may not want to pay for something they cannot see. Clients can also be challenged to provide enough written content or optimized images.
Good SEO best practices take time and aren't obvious to most people. Key factors include URLs, headings, titles, descriptions, and optimized images, all of which require careful backend work. Accessibility optimization is another factor to consider; it's good practice, can help SEO, and can be tested as well (many websites rate poorly).
Our budget recommendation is to design and optimize fewer pages with SEO best practices, rather than to deliver many webpages with poorly optimized content and images that search engines cannot find. Fortunately, we like to educate our customers and test our pages for SEO, and we can share screenshots of the results.
Website Consulting, Art Services and Design Estimates
We Bundle Consulting, Art Services and Website Design
See our "Getting Started" page section and link to "Art Website Budgeting" to assist you with budget considerations for a new art website.
Our "pay as you go" pricing lets you control your art website budget, size, and scope. We can help improve an existing art website, build a simple one-page site, or design a large 100-page art website with full SEO best practices, with prices starting at $1,000.
Given everything we've written above, we think potential customers will still want a price range estimate. A one-page website or landing page is estimated at $1,000 to $1,500, and a five-page art website with one or two image galleries with 20 to 30 images each is estimated at $3,000 to $5,000. Additional pages will add cost. If you want to learn and do some work yourself, we can provide website design instructions and copy sections or clone pages so you can insert copy and photos, which can help lower costs for your Best Art Website.
